TradeRanger Acceptable Use Policy

Company: Trade Ranger Inc., a Florida corporation doing business as "TradeRanger" Address: 4460 State Road 44, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168

This Acceptable Use Policy governs use of the TradeRanger platform and is incorporated into the TradeRanger Master Subscription Agreement / SaaS Terms of Service.

Customer is responsible for ensuring that all Users comply with this Policy.

1. Lawful Business Use

The platform may be used only for lawful business purposes.

Customer and Users may not use the platform to violate any applicable law, regulation, contract, privacy obligation, employment obligation, intellectual property right, or third-party right.

2. Account Security

Customer and Users may not:

  • Share login credentials;
  • Allow unauthorized persons to access the platform;
  • Use another person's credentials;
  • Attempt to access another customer's account or data;
  • Circumvent authentication, authorization, permissions, or security controls;
  • Interfere with platform security;
  • Fail to remove Users who no longer need access.

Customer is responsible for all activity under its account.

3. Prohibited Content and Data

Customer and Users may not upload, submit, store, transmit, or process data or content that:

  • Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory;
  • Violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, employment, or contractual rights;
  • Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, worms, or harmful code;
  • Is intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
  • Contains information Customer is not legally authorized to collect, store, use, or disclose;
  • Is false, misleading, or submitted for fraudulent purposes;
  • Is used to impersonate another person or entity;
  • Is used to conduct illegal or abusive communications.

4. Employee, HR, and Personal Information

Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that it has the lawful right to collect, upload, store, process, use, disclose, and retain any employee, HR, applicant, contractor, customer, vendor, or personal information.

Customer must not upload sensitive information unless it has appropriate legal authority, internal policies, consents, permissions, and safeguards.

Customer is responsible for determining what information its Users may access.

5. Communications

Customer and Users may not use the platform to send or facilitate:

  • Spam;
  • Unsolicited marketing messages;
  • Messages without required consent;
  • Misleading or deceptive communications;
  • Harassing, abusive, or threatening messages;
  • Illegal employment, customer, vendor, or marketing communications;
  • Messages that fail to honor opt-out or unsubscribe requirements.

Customer is responsible for the content, recipients, timing, consent, and legality of all communications sent using or through the platform.

6. Platform Misuse

Customer and Users may not:

  • Copy, resell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the platform;
  • Use the platform for service bureau purposes or to provide services to unauthorized third parties;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover source code;
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract platform data except through authorized features;
  • Attempt to recreate the platform or build a competing product using the platform;
  • Benchmark, test, or analyze the platform for competitive purposes;
  • Remove proprietary notices;
  • Bypass usage limits, seat limits, plan limits, or access controls;
  • Interfere with platform performance, availability, or integrity;
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or unauthorized tools to access the platform;
  • Conduct load testing, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or security testing without written authorization.

7. Third-Party Rights

Customer and Users may not use the platform to infringe, misappropriate, or violate third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy rights, publicity rights, contract rights, or employment rights.

Customer must have the necessary rights to all content, files, photos, documents, contracts, logos, marks, templates, data, and other materials uploaded to the platform.

8. Payment and Billing Abuse

Customer and Users may not:

  • Use false billing information;
  • Dispute valid charges in bad faith;
  • Attempt to avoid payment;
  • Abuse free trials;
  • Create multiple accounts to bypass plan limits;
  • Use stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods.

9. Security Testing

Customer may not conduct security testing, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, load testing, stress testing, or similar activities without TradeRanger's prior written consent.

Any approved testing must comply with the scope, timing, and conditions provided by TradeRanger.

10. Suspension or Removal

TradeRanger may suspend access, remove content, restrict functionality, disable accounts, or terminate service if it determines that Customer or any User violated this Policy or created a risk to the platform, TradeRanger, other customers, third parties, or the public.

TradeRanger may act without advance notice where necessary to address security, legal, operational, or reputational risk.

11. Reporting Violations

Suspected violations of this Policy may be reported to:
